When diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer most patients have little or no information about the disease. We have a wonderful, caring, warm group of ladies who openly share experiences and feelings. We share information about treatments, tests and side effects, including details that you may never learn from your Oncologist or the Internet. Long time survivors will inspire you and give hope to the newly diagnosed.
Meet Karen and Stella, 4 year survivors or Phyllis, a 10 year survivor. Many times survivors say that family and good friends are important but there is nothing, truly nothing like that first moment when you look into the eyes of another survivor and realize that they truly do understand what you are going through. At that point, we hope a little bit of the loneliness will melt away.
So, please join us. If you feel a little uncomfortable coming alone, please contact us and someone will pick you up.
You will feel a part of the group the minute you meet us.
Come share your experiences, or just listen to others. Come cry with us.
Come laugh with us. We are all in this together and we really do understand.
